Sally Hogshead spent most of her career in advertising, and she was quite successful. Early on, she worked at the widely renowned Wieden+Kennedy ad agency. At 27, she cofounded her own boutique agency, Robaire & Hogshead. Later, she opened the West Coast office of Crispin Porter + Bogusky, a large Miami-based ad agency. Among her accomplishments was leading the ad campaign for the wildly successful Mini Cooper.

But even with all her success, Hogshead came down with a major case of the career blahs, an experience that led her to author her first book, Radical Careering.

In this podcast, Monster spoke with Hogshead about what careering means and how her career book is different than others.
